THANK YOU to everyone who came out!

My friend Liz Vigoda (amazing ceramics!) and I were able to make a very generous gift to the victims of Hurricane Sandy from proceeds of the sale.

It was so nice to see everyone who stopped by, and to be part of the fun of picking out the "perfect" holiday presents was so rewarding... Not to mention helping people pick the perfect piece of jewelry for themselves, too! It makes all the hard work worthwhile.

This year at the sale I purchased a new handcrafted black and white pottery plate from Liz - it will look perfect displayed in my living room once the new blue/gray paint goes up on the walls.

Counting down to the Open Studio this coming weekend !
Loretta is hard at work on some new work and has lovely cards to show featuring her own nature photography.
Here is a sneak peek at some of the brand new pieces by Liz

These are small delicate porcelain bowl with gilded interiors,
magical!

 These are purple and white glazed mugs with antique botanical prints fired on.
Sure to brighten these dark winter mornings.

 These are cream and variegated brown pieces with chinese blue banana leaf decoration.
I think the contrast between the soft runny earth tones and the crisp blue and white is very interesting!

 this is a large salad bowl with multiple decoration techniques applied for a collage effect.
I went to town on this one, with multiple layers of underglaze, wax and a photo decal.

Sneak Peek: Custom Dog Ring!

I'm sharing a ring with a custom miniature original photograph. This little dog's name is Domino. On the backside of the ring is a little image of a blue forget-me-not.

Every year for the holidays I make a bunch of custom pieces that are given as special holiday gifts. If you are interested in a custom piece, there is still time, but let me know soon!
